Abi was looking at my face this morning in a “you’ve got eyebrows” “you’ve got a big tounge”, I’ve got a little tounge” kind of way when she noticed the mole on my cheek for the first time. “You’ve got a cheek button” She said.

First Joke?

Abi possibly played her first joke on me this morning. we were in thye paek and she kept saying eat, I asked her what she meant as she had just eaten her brekfast so I didn’t think she was hungry, when she is she asks for specific t hings like ice cream. She bent down with a grin and pretended to eat the grass going yum yum. It’s either a joke or shes a strange child?

Ok a couple more photos for you to appreciate. I thought the first one rather appropriate. A lovely picture of Anna and Abi – just that Abi is still in the womb!

The second one is for all the dads about to go through what I am about to go through. If you need to talk I’ll be there for you. I mean it. I was about to spend almost an hour not knowing what was happening. I was scared that Anna was going to die. I was scared Abi was going to die and I was helpless. I couldn’t help them. I shed quite a few tears and I thank God that He saw them through. But for me it was not the physical pain that leaves a scar – it is the mental pain. I am so glad I have a lovely baby girl and in the end it is worth it. But it is still painful. All I can say is thanks Adam and Eve – none of this was necessary if you had just listened – but then I guess I wasn’t listening either!
